Vuhlehirsk

Vuhlehirsk [Вуглегірськ; Vuhlehirs'k]. Map: DBIII-4. A city (2013 pop 7,868) under the jurisdiction of the Yenakiieve city council in Donetsk oblast. It originated in 1879 as the railway settlement of Khatsapetivka. It was renamed in 1957 and promoted to city status the following year. It has a coal mine and a coal enrichment plant.
