Volia (Lviv)
Volia (Lviv) (Freedom). A semimonthly organ of the Ukrainian Social Democratic party, published in Lviv in 1900–4 and 1905–7 by Mykola Hankevych. Edited by Hankevych (to 1905), Volodymyr Levynsky (to 1906), A. Zelib (1903), and Semen Vityk (1906–7), the paper advocated co-operation between Ukrainian and Polish socialists. Volia was succeeded by Zemlia i volia.
