Trout
Trout (Salmo; Ukrainian: pstruh, forel). The name commonly given to several types of prized freshwater commercial fish of the Salmonidae family, and also, inaccurately, to char. The trout in Ukraine are the brown trout (S. trutta; Ukrainian: strumkovyi pstruh), found in the lakes and streams of the Carpathian Mountains and the Crimean Mountains, and the rainbow trout (S. gairdneri). The trout is used in fish-farming research for the fishing industry.
