Tobilevych
Tobilevych [Тобілевич; Tobilevyč]. A family of distinguished theater activists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries that greatly influenced the development of Ukrainian theater and drama. The brothers were known by their pseudonyms—the actor and playwright Ivan Karpenko-Kary and the actors and troupe directors Mykola Sadovsky and Panas Saksahansky. Their sister, Mariia Sadovska-Barilotti, was an actress and singer. Karpenko-Kary's wife, Sofiia Tobilevych, was an actress, translator, and author of memoirs.
