Semenivka (Poltava oblast)
Semenivka (Poltava oblast) [Семенівка]. Map: IV-14. A town smt (2006 pop 7,469) and a raion center in Poltava oblast. It was established at the end of the 17th century. Under the Hetman state the village belonged to Khorol company in Myrhorod regiment. In the 19th century it was part of Khorol county in Poltava gubernia. It remains an agricultural town with a sugar refinery, a flour mill, and grain storage facilities.
