Rubchak, Olha

Rubchak, Olha [Рубчак, Ольга; Rubčak, Ol’ha], b 10 May 1903 in Chernivtsi, d 21 November 1981 in Kyiv. Actress; daughter of Ivan Rubchak and Kateryna Rubchak and wife of Hnat Yura. She studied drama in Kyiv (1917–18) and then worked in the New Lviv Theater (1919–20) and the Franko New Drama Theater in Kharkiv (1920–6; later the Kyiv Ukrainian Drama Theater, 1926–60).
