Radianska Ukraina

Radianska Ukraina (Радянська Україна; Soviet Ukraine). A publishing and printing industry conglomerate of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine (CPU) in Kyiv, established in 1943. Its many printing plants produced 11 republican newspapers and 10 journals of the CPU and Komsomol, Kyiv editions of 17 newspapers of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union and USSR government in Moscow, 22 other journals, and specialized Russian-language publications for distribution in Ukraine. Following the 1991 Ukraine’s Declaration of Independence, the conglomerate was renamed Presa Ukrainy in 1992.
