Radians’ka osvita (Kyiv)
Radians’ka osvita (Kyiv) («Радянська освіта»; Soviet Education). A pedagogical and professional newspaper for teachers and educators, published twice a week in Kyiv. Established in 1940, it was an organ of the People's Commissariat of Education of Ukraine and of the Central Committee of the Professional Union of Workers in Primary and Secondary Schools. In 1960 it became the organ of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine, the Ministry of Higher and Specialized Secondary Education of Ukraine, and the Ukrainian Republican Committee of Professional Workers in Education and Science. It published news about social-political events and highlighted professional and pedagogical developments. In 1992 it was reorganized into a weekly Osvita.
