Radians’ka osvita (Kharkiv)
Radians’ka osvita (Kharkiv) («Радянська освіта»; Soviet Education). A popular pedagogical journal and the organ of the People's Commissariat of Education of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Bureau of the Central Committee of Educational Workers. It was published monthly in Kharkiv from 1923 under the formal editorship of the commissar of education—first Volodymyr Zatonsky, then Oleksander Shumsky, and finally Mykola Skrypnyk. It served as a popular forum for the discussion of educational issues and played an important role in the Ukrainization of Ukrainian schools. In 1931 it merged with Za politekhnichnu osvitu to form Politekhnichna shkola (1932–4).
