Nyzhankivska, Lada-Ariana
Nyzhankivska, Lada-Ariana or Nyzankovsky [Нижанківська, Лада-Аріяна; Nyžankivs'ka], b 3 October 1962 in Geneva, Switzerland. Artist; daughter of Zoia Lisovska and Oleh Nyzhankivsky. She completed her art studies at the University of Geneva and the Geneva Academy of Fine Art (1985). She works as an art teacher in Geneva and specializes in painting and graphic art. She has participated in group shows in Switzerland (1985–90) and since 1986 has had numerous personal shows: in Geneva in 1986, 1987, 1989, and 1990; in New York, Washington, DC, and Philadelphia in 1989; and jointly with her mother in London and Lviv in 1990.
