Novi poeziï

Novi poeziï [«Нові поезії»] (New Poetry). An annual publication of the New York Group of poets which appeared from 1959 to 1971. It was cofounded and coedited by Bohdan Boychuk and Yuriy Tarnawsky. It contained original and reprinted poetry, mostly by members of the group (Bohdan Rubchak, Zhenia Vasylkivska, Vira Vovk, Emma Andiievska, and Patritsiia Kylyna [Patricia Warren]), poets associated with the group (such as Yurii Kolomyiets, Oleh Koverko, Marco Carynnyk, and Roman Babowal), and other émigré writers (such as Vadym Lesych and Vasyl Barka), which was illustrated by member artists. The journal also published translations from English, German, Italian, and especially Spanish, including poems by M. Hernandez, Federico García Lorca, L. Simpson, Pablo Neruda, Juan Ramon Jiménez, and others.
