Northwestern Ukrainian lands
Northwestern Ukrainian lands (Pivnichno-zakhidni ukrainski zemli). The common unofficial designation used by Ukrainians during the interwar period for the northwestern Ukrainian ethnic territories (outside Galicia) that had come under Polish control, including Volhynia, Polisia, Podlachia, and the Kholm region.
