Nikolenko, Dmytro

Nikolenko, Dmytro [Ніколенко, Дмитро], b 7 November 1899 in Zhabotyn, Cherkasy county, Kyiv gubernia, d 17 September in Kyiv. Psychologist. He graduated from the Kyiv Institute of People's Education (1924) and worked in his specialty in Kyiv. In 1930 he began to teach at the Kyiv Pedagogical Institute, where in 1952 he was appointed to the chair of psychology. His publications deal mostly with child psychology, educational psychology, occupational psychology, and the history of psychology.
