Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics
Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics (Київський національний торговельно-економічний університет; Kyivskyi natsionalnyi torhovelno-ekonomichnyi universytet). An institution of higher education in Kyiv. It was formed in 1966 as the Kyiv Trade and Economics Institute out of the Kyiv branch of the Donetsk Institute of Soviet Commerce. In 1994 it was reorganized into the Kyiv State University of Trade and Economics. In 2000 it was granted the national university status and assumed its current name. The university has six faculties: economics, management, and psychology; accounting, audit, and information systems; hospitality and tourism business; trade and marketing; finances and banking; international trade and law. The enrollment is over 36,000 students.
