Kasianenko, Hryhorii

Kasianenko, Hryhorii [Касяненко, Григорій; Kasjanenko, Hryhorij], b 1891 in Ivankiv, Kyiv gubernia, d ? Aeronautical engineer and political leader. During the period of Ukrainian struggle for independence (1917–20) he was a member of the Central Rada and the Committee for the Defense of the Revolution. Under the Soviet regime he worked as an engineer in the aircraft industry. He perished during the Stalinist terror of the 1930s.
