Fedorovsky, Mykola
Fedorovsky, Mykola [Федоровський, Микола; Fedorovs'kyj], b 4 December 1838 in Borzna, Chernihiv gubernia, d 23 June 1918 in Berdiansk. General of the Russian army who also worked in the field of Ukrainian education. With Petro Nishchynsky, the Tobilevych brothers (Ivan Karpenko-Kary, Mykola Sadovsky, and Panas Saksahansky), and Marko Kropyvnytsky he organized a theater group in Yelysavethrad. He was the leading organizer of the Philanthropic Society for Publishing Generally Useful and Inexpensive Books in Saint Petersburg.
