Aihulske Lake
Aihulske Lake [Айгульське озеро; Ajhul's'ke ozero]. See Google Map; EU map: VIII-15. Lake lying near the Perekop Isthmus in the Crimea, the largest of nine Perekop lakes. The lake is 18 km long, 4.5 km wide, and 0.1–0.3 m deep. It is fed by subterranean waters. In summer the lake's salinity reaches 23–27 percent, and during droughts the bed is covered with salt deposits.
