Zarevo Ukrainian Student Association. A Ukrainian student organization formed in 1949. Ideologically aligned with the OUN (Melnyk faction), this nationalist group promoted the concept of ‘national solidarism’ and published the newspaper Rozbudova derzhavy. An offshoot of its activity in the United States was Smoloskyp, an activist group formed to address the human rights issue in Ukraine. The more prominent members of Zarevo were Marko Antonovych, Petro Stercho, Mykola Plaviuk, Arkadii Zhukovsky, Bohdan Wynar, P. Dorozhynsky, and Osyp Zinkevych.
