Voliansky, Ivan
Voliansky, Ivan [Волянський, Іван; Voljans'kyj], b 1887, d 1950s in Argentina. Lawyer and political leader in Galicia. A lawyer in Stanyslaviv, he was active in the Ukrainian community. For many years he served as president of the county branch of the Ridna Shkola society and director of a branch of the Land Mortgage Bank. From 1933 he headed the Ukrainian Catholic People's party, and in 1935–9 he was its representative in the Polish Sejm.
