Verkhrata
Verkhrata [Верхрата; Verxrata; Polish: Werchrata]. A village (2014 pop 460) on the Rata River in the Roztochia Upland, now in Subcarpathian voivodeship, Poland. It was the site of a Basilian monastery (1678–1806), which was known for its miracle-working icon of the Holy Theotokos. With the closing of the monastery, the icon was transferred in 1810 to the Krekhiv Monastery.
