Velykyi Dil [Великий Діл; Velykyj Dil]. Map: V-4. A mountain group in the Volcanic Ukrainian Carpathians located between the Liatorytsia River and the Borzhava River in Transcarpathia oblast. The highest peak in the group is Mount Buzhora (1,085 m). The slopes of the mountains in the group are covered with beech forests and are sparsely populated. In contrast, the lowland area surrounding the group is heavily populated and is an active center of viticulture. The Zacharovanyi Krai National Nature Park is located in the central part of the Velykyi Dil.
