Ukraïns’ke slovo (Buenos Aires)

Ukraïns’ke slovo (Buenos Aires) (Ukrainian Word). The first Ukrainian newspaper in Argentina, published in Buenos Aires since January 1928 weekly and now semimonthly. The organ of the Prosvita Ukrainian Cultural Association in Argentina, in the postwar period it has supported the émigré OUN (Bandera faction) and has included pages devoted to the Prosvita Women's Alliance, the Ukrainian Youth Association (SUM), the Ukrainian Student Organization of Mikhnovsky, and literature and art. The editors have been O. Vudkevych, S. Mandzii, M. Korytko, I. Kryvy, N. Blavatny, A. Bilopolsky, O. Shkeda, I. Mitrenga, I. Rybak, M. Kovalenko, N. Velychkovsky, O. Kuzmych, Yu. Serediak, I. Didenko, B. Vitoshynsky, I. Klymenko, H. Holiian, and M. Danylyshyn.
