Ukraïna (Paris) («Україна»; Ukraine). An irregular journal of Ukrainian studies, published in Paris in 1949–53 (a total of 10 issues). It succeeded Soborna Ukraïna, four issues of which appeared in 1947. Edited by Elie Borschak and published with the financial support of Bishop Ivan Buchko, the journal devoted particular attention to historical topics, including the history of Ukrainian-French relations. It featured biographies of prominent Ukrainian political and cultural figures, materials on Hetman Pylyp Orlyk, documents relating to Ukrainian history (particularly from French archives), bibliographies, book reviews, and memoirs by Evhen Batchinsky, Borys Krupnytsky, Domet Olianchyn, Nataliia Polonska-Vasylenko, Yurii Tyshchenko, and others.
