Tvorydlo, Mykola [Творидло, Микола], b 4 April 1884 in Zashkiv, Lviv county, Galicia, d ca 1952 in Lviv. Agronomist and co-operative movement leader. After completing his studies in Vienna (1911) he undertook research in Germany and Switzerland. In 1912–19 he worked as an itinerant agricultural instructor for Silskyi Hospodar, and in 1920 he became director of an agricultural school in Mukachevo. He soon returned to Galicia to become director of the head office of the Silskyi Hospodar society in Lviv (1924–7), a member of the board of directors of Tsentrosoiuz in Lviv (1928–39), and an active member of the Ukrainian National Democratic Alliance (UNDO). In 1938 he was elected to the Polish Senate as an UNDO representative, and during the Second World War he was an agricultural specialist for the Ukrainian Central Committee. He edited the monthly Hospodar in Uzhhorod (1920) and wrote two handbooks for farmers, Shkidlyvi i korysni zviriata v hospodarstvi (Harmful and Useful Animals in Farming, 2 vols, 1923) and Praktychnyi hospodar (The Practical Farmer, 1928). He also wrote brochures and articles on economic questions.
