Pynsk-Turiv regiment
Pynsk-Turiv regiment [Пинсько-Турівський полк; Pynsko-Turivskyi polk]. An administrative territory and military formation of the Hetman state (see Regimental system). It was established in 1657, when the Ukrainian Cossacks expelled the Polish landowners from Belarusian territory. The regiment was dissolved in the middle of 1659, when Polish forces recaptured the Pynsk region. The commanders of the regiment were colonels Ivan Hrusha (1657) and Kostiantyn Vyhovsky (1657–9).
