Nova hromada (Edmonton)
Nova hromada (Edmonton) («Нова громада»; New Community). A weekly organ of the Federation of Ukrainian Socialists in Canada after its split from the Federation of Ukrainian Social Democrats in Canada (FUSD). It appeared in Edmonton from February 1911 to September 1912 (a total of 67 issues). It published articles on political affairs, especially concerning the workers' and socialist movements, and some works on Ukrainian history and culture. It strongly criticized Robochyi narod, the organ of the FUSD, which was more leftist in orientation. Nova hromada was edited by Roman Kremar, Toma Tomashevsky, Ivan Semotiuk, and Illia Kiriak.
