Nova Ukraïna
Nova Ukraïna («Нова Україна»; New Ukraine). A daily Ukrainian newspaper published from November 1941 to February 1943 in Kharkiv, Poltava, and then, with interruptions, Vinnytsia. It was one of the best newspapers to appear in German-occupied Ukraine, at least partly because it was published so close to the German-Soviet front and was subject only to military censorship, which was not as restrictive as the Nazi censorship practiced elsewhere in the Reichskommissariat Ukraine. It was edited by Petro Sahaidachny and V. Tsarynnyk. A total of 402 issues appeared, each with a circulation of 25,000 to 50,000 copies.
