Nikitska Yaila [Nikits’ka Jajla]. A massif in the southwestern part of the main range of the Crimean Mountains that divides the Yalta and Hurzuf coastal regions. The peaks in the mountain cluster are approximately 1,300–1,400 m high, with the tallest, Mount Avinda, reaching 1,473 m. They contain a variety of karst formations. Crimean pine forests are located on the mountains' limestone inclines. Nikitska Yaila forms part of the Crimean Game Preserve.
