Nash svit (New York)
Nash svit (New York) («Наш світ»; Our World). An organ of the Self-Reliance Association of American Ukrainians, published monthly and then every two months in New York from 1959. It was established through the merger of two earlier journals, Nash kontakt and Novyi svit. It published articles on the co-operative movement and the credit union movement (especially with regard to Self-Reliance federal credit unions) and on political and economic affairs. Among its editors have been Roman Ilnytsky, Volodymyr Nestorovych, and Mykhailo Ostroverkha. The journal’s circulation was approximately 2,650 in 1986.
