Limnytsia River
Limnytsia River [Лімниця; Limnycja] (aka Ломниця; Lomnytsia). (Map: Limnytsia River.) A right-bank tributary of the Dnister River. The Limnytsia River is 122 km long and drains a basin area of 1,530 sq km. It has its source in the Gorgany Mountains range of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains and flows through Ivano-Frankivsk oblast. Throughout its course the Limnytsia is a mountain river. Its waters are used for industrial, agricultural, and domestic consumption and irrigation.
