Kharkiv
Kharkiv. A literary almanac of the Kharkiv oblast branch of the Writers' Union of Ukraine. Eight issues were published between 1952 and 1955 in Kharkiv. Besides literary works, it contained literary criticism, publicistic articles, a chronicle of literary and artistic events, and a section for young writers. Its contributors included such writers as Petro Panch, Ihor Muratov, Ivan Vyrhan, Yurii Shovkoplias, and Viktor Kochevsky. In January 1956 the almanac was replaced by the journal Prapor (Kharkiv).
