Hromada (Lutsk)
Hromada (Lutsk) [«Громада»; Community]. A weekly newspaper published in Lutsk, Volhynia, from 1922 to 1926. At first, under the editorship of A. Novynsky (1922–4), it had a general democratic character. From 22 November 1925 it was the official organ of the Ukrainian National Democratic Alliance, edited by Mykhailo Cherkavsky. Following the 43rd issue, it was suppressed by the Polish regime. It reappeared as Ukraïns’ka hromada (Lutsk) and continued to be published until 1929.
