Dmytro, Voivode

Dmytro, Voivode.Kyiv voivode of Prince Danylo Romanovych of Halych. In 1240 he stubbornly defended Kyiv against the Tatars. After the fall of the city Dmytro was spared by Batu Khan for his courage.
