Andrii, Master
Andrii, Master [Андрій; Andrij], b in Volhynia. Painter of the 15th century. Commissioned by the Polish king Władysław II Jagiełło, Andrii painted frescoes in the Chapel of the Holy Trinity in Lublin, Poland. The Last Supper, Prayers over the Chalice, Descent from the Cross, and The Betrayal are on the walls around the altar, and a depiction of Christ with Andrii's signature and the date 1418 is on the arch between the altar and the nave.
